The long-awaited Castaic High School is designed to be architecturally staggering. Period. Both a regular and trade/tech high school, Castaic promises to be one of California’s prettiest campuses.
ONE QUARTER MILLION SQUARE FEET OF BUILDINGS
There are 250,000 square feet of classrooms, buildings, offices, a library, a performing arts building and athletic facilities.
ALL BUILDINGS WILL BE 1 or 2 STORY...
This low-profile architecture is designed to blend in with Castaic’s beautiful and natural topography.
Future athletes will enjoy all sorts of multi-use athletic facilities, from a modern running track to a beautiful football and soccer field. Also coming are outdoor basketball and tennis courts, not to mention baseball, softball and other athletic fields.
ALMOST A MILLION-GALLON WATER TOWER
Water Tank #1 is a 700,000-gallon state-of-the-art storage vessel. Besides serving the campus, it can be used to connect a hydrant to firefighting/water dropping helicopters.
The Hart District has planned for the future. When the time comes to expand, transmission towers can be erected on one of several hilltops to accommodate cellular, television, satellite or other broadcasting technologies.
